The stripped-back ballad is the first collaboration between Reyez and Miguel and the perfect canvas for their undeniable sonic chemistry. “JEANS” shows a mature and sexy side of Reyez – here she is both vulnerable and assured, passionately peeling back every word in “JEANS” as if baring her whole soul.
Along with the new single is a steamy video, directed by Erik Rojas / BT Studios, in line with the narratives fans have seen Reyez follow before – in control and calling the shots. Here in a dusty western town, Reyez is found robbing a store and getting caught by the law. Her misdemeanors lead her to Miguel’s neighboring jail cell and that’s when sparks start to fly.
