Musica Mexicana break-out star Ivan Cornejo delivers a new single “Baby Please” accompanied by an official video directed by Edgar Daniel.
“Baby Please” is a Sad Sierreño heartbreak anthem that showcases his signature moody tone. Throughout the song, Ivan is pleading with his love to remember their journey and to think about how beautiful the relationship could be if they handled it with care going forward.
The song was written by Ivan at home in Riverside, California, and produced by Ivan’s longtime collaborator Frank Rio. Ivan shares:
This song was inspired by the desperate desire we feel during our lowest moments in a break up. We hate the attachment but love the thought of a rekindled love. I wanted this song to feel like I’m vulnerable but at the same time willing to fight for her.
