According to TMZ, GLEE star Mark Salling has died due to an apparent suicide.
TMZ reports that Salling’s body was found near a riverbed in Sunland, where he lived. An official cause of death is yet to be confirmed, but according to police and reports, Salling may have died after hanging himself.
Salling, a former “Glee” star was awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to possession of child pornography involving prepubescent minors. Prosecutors say he had 50,000 images of underage children.
Sentencing in the case was set for March. He was expected to get 4 to 7 years in prison as part of a plea deal.
Back in August 2017, TMZ broke the news that Salling had cut his wrists in what appeared a suicide attempt, his lawyers denied it.
Salling was 35 years old.
