There’s no doubt in our mind that 2020 opened the doors to a lot of creativity and 2021 proved it, from Regional Mexican to Pop, EDM to Country. There was a lot of great music, and we congratulate every artist that poured their heart and soul into their music, it was tough, but these are the best of the best.

The playlist features some of the biggest mainstream hits from Lil Nas X “That’s What I Want,” Maluma “Sobrio,” Grupo Firme “En Tu Perra Vida,” Farruko “Pepas,” Anitta “Girl From Rio,” Adele “Easy On Me,” Rauw Alejandro “Todo De Ti” and songs that you may not have heard of from artists that don’t get the spotlight they deserve, meet some of them below…

Colatura, the dreampop trio from Brooklyn, their single “We Run On Empty” is a gem. A track that relays a steady, almost imperceptible, loss of identity that comes with finding oneself in a toxic relationship, and let’s be honest at one point in our lives we’ve all been in a toxic relationship. Thank you Colatura for pouring y’all’s heart into “We Run On Empty.”
