ERASURE (Andy Bell and Vince Clarke) have released a brand new track, “Still It’s Not Over,” from their forthcoming studio album, World Be Gone – out on May 19, 2017.
“Still It’s Not Over” illustrates the album’s reflective mood and shows Erasure’s spirit of resistance is undiminished with lyrics that serve as a potent reminder of the band’s place in the gay rights movement.
World Be Gone sees the award-winning songwriters giving the world and recent political upheavals a thoughtful examination and, as highlighted on the painted artwork showing a ship’s masthead rising up from being submerged in the stormy waters, looking forward to the future.
