DJ Maff, from the island of San Andrés and as part of the collective of producers TMFTC (The Music From The Company), one of the production collectives that has released the most hits internationally with figures like Madonna and J Balvin, and most recently Karol G (“Gatúbela”) releases new single “Criminal” alongside Ryan Castro x Kafu Banton.
The track is a dark dancehall track with nuances of mode up, a mix of Caribbean rhythms in which DJ Maff’s flow and beats, the unmistakable voice of Ryan Castro (“singer from the ghetto”), and the reggae essence of Kafu Banton make the perfect match for clubs and parties all over the world.
| The official music video for “Criminal” was filmed at the firefighter training school in Pueblo Viejo, Antioquia, with the production of TMFTC and under the direction of Felipe Mejia, recreating a Jamaican party with sound system (pick up) as part of the art. In the video, the colors red, green and yellow dominate in an environment that invites us to a clandestine party full of flow, movement and a lot of fire. |
