Carlos Vives x Juanes Team on New Track “Las Mujeres”

2023 marks the 30th anniversary of Clásicos de la Provincia, the album that Carlos Vives used to create a new sound that changed the history of Colombian pop and opened paths for future generations, projecting the vallenato sound internationally.

To celebrate, Carlos Vives and Juanes have teamed up for a new version of the classic vallenato by Carlos Huertas, “Las Mujeres, creating one of the most anticipated moments for Latin music.

The music video for “Las Mujeres” showcases more than 25 incredible women of different nationalities, with different professions and trades, highlighting that with their work women really move the world. Some scenes of the video present the Olympic champion Mariana Pajón, two accordion players who add modernity (Lupe) and roots (arhauca – Ati), designer Lia Samanta, graffiti artist Ledania and philanthropists Catalina EscobarRuth Chaparro and Nadia Sanchez. The video additionally shows influencers like the Venezuelan Surthany Hejeij (Surthy Cooks) and Janeth Colmeneres (the mom of the recipes), among many others.
