Bishop Briggs Releases Two Emotionally Charged Singles, “High Water” & “Art of Survival”

Multi-platinum singer-songwriter Bishop Briggs returns with two new emotionally charged singles entitled “High Water” and “Art of Survival” via Arista Records.

Writing both songs as an ode to her late sister Kate, Bishop notes:

I feel really grateful that I am here wide-eyed sharing new music with all of you. I can’t say that I knew if that was going to be possible for me after my sister Kate passed away in January of 2021. With all soulmates there is an unbreakable bond and energy that ties the relationship so closely that nothing can break it. Although I feel broken, I know our bond will surpass the concept of time and healing. “High Water” was written from the depths of my despair as a love letter to my best friend who I miss so dearly. Whereas “Art of Survival” is from a place of choosing to keep fighting to live fully and I firmly believe this is where she would hope to find me. I felt deeply I couldn’t release one without the other. So here, in my rawest form, I give you my soul on a platter. Thank you for being here.

When we say emotionally charged, we mean it, Briggs bares her soul on both tracks, grab a tissue box!
