Ariana Grande’s Concert Rocked by “Explosions”

Reports are coming in that loud bangs, which are being described as “explosions” were heard at the end of Ariana Grande‘s concert at Manchester Arena in the UK.

According to TMZ, several people present — including actress Julie Hesmondhalgh from “Coronation Street” — say there was no explosion but rather a loud bang, which created a stampede and people were injured trying to get out of the facility.

A source connected with Ariana tells TMZ that she had just left the stage when everyone heard what appeared to be an explosion. 

Greater Manchester Police say there are a “number of confirmed fatalities and others injured.

According to TMZ:

The explosion after the Ariana Grande concert Monday night is now being treated as a terroristic act and at least 19 people are confirmed dead.

There are reports the explosive device was a nail bomb in a backpack and it might have been a suicide mission.

It appears the bomber was waiting around the exit area as people were streaming out of the building.

Police apparently found a second explosive device and they are about to detonate it, and they’ve warned people not to be alarmed when they hear a second explosion.

According to TMZ: People connected with the show say they heard what sounded like an explosion in the rotunda area where merchandise is sold — in the venue but outside the seating area. There was an immediate stampede for the exits.
