Post-punk duo Twin Tribes– Luis Navarro and Joel Niño Jr. have released their new EP “Ecos,” offering fans a haunting and heartfelt tribute to two of the most iconic songs in Rock en Español history.

The EP features two reimagined classics, “Tren al Sur” by Chilean legends Los Prisioneros, and “Lobo-Hombre en París” by the beloved Spanish band La Unión. “Ecos” is now available on all streaming platforms.

These songs are not only musical milestones across Latin America and Spain, they are deeply personal for Twin Tribes. As Mexican-American artists shaped by a bicultural experience, the band has long drawn inspiration from Latin alternative and rock music. “Ecos is a love letter to that legacy, infused with the band’s signature darkwave style, rich with atmospheric synths, melancholic vocals and emotionally driven production.

The result is a cinematic transformation of two enduring anthems. “Tren al Sur” becomes a shadowy journey through memory and distance, while “Lobo-Hombre en París” takes on a dreamy, nocturnal energy that reinterprets the original’s poetic surrealism.
