Award-winning rapper, songwriter, and actor Megan Thee Stallion will make her Broadway debut in Moulin Rouge! The Musical on Broadway, she’s set to portray Zidler.
Megan will make history as the first female-identifying performer to play the role not only in the Broadway production, but in any Moulin Rouge! production worldwide. The role is a traditionally male role, formerly Harold Zidler, the part created by Tony winner Danny Burstein.
Bob the Drag Queen is now portraying Zidler, he’ll end his limited engagement on March 22nd, with Megan taking over the role from March 24–May 17 at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.
