Marca MP Drop New Album ‘Historias Mal Contadas,’ Celebrate with Release Party in L.A.

With a career that has firmly established them as key figures in modern Mexican music, Marca MP presents their new album Historias Mal Contadas—an 11-track project that showcases the group’s musical and visual evolution toward a more mature and introspective phase, without losing their essence.

To celebrate the release of the album, Marca MP hosted an album release party in Los Angeles at JAGARHAUS – an art & design gallery event space. Pedro Vargas “Chato” (lead vocals and guitar), Omar Valdivia (guitar), Ernesto Franco (tuba), and Ismael Villano (tololoche) delivered a four-song set that included a live performance of their hit single “Mato,” “Sin Mi,” “Guasón,” and “No Se,” all featured on Historias Mal Contadas.

With Historias Mal ContadasMarca MP reaffirms its status as one of the most consistent and influential groups of the past decade—carrying the flag of Mexican music to new generations and international stages while continuing to evolve and stay true to their identity.
