L.A. Comic Con 2025 Sets All-Time Attendance Record

Los Angeles Comic Con, L.A.’s largest event for comics, gaming, sci-fi, anime and pop culture, successfully wrapped up its 2025 event with a star-studded lineup, the debut of the 40,000 square foot “Akiba Station” anime community, the unveiling of the Stan Lee Experience, and much more.

Between September 26th through the 28th, L.A. Comic Con welcomed 131,000 fans through the doors of the Los Angeles Convention Center, making it the biggest L.A. Comic Con in history, and the first to surpass the 130,000 mark. Over three action-packed days, fans experienced unforgettable panels featuring beloved stars from film, TV, gaming, and animation along with an expanded, immersive anime activation that united the heart of the anime community like never before. The weekend featured over 225 panels and programming sessions, spotlighting the visionary creators behind some of fans’ most beloved franchises. With over 1,100  artists and vendors selling fan-favorites, exclusives, and one-of-a-kind collectibles, LA. Comic Con has once again leveled up a new experience for LA fans.

A major highlight of the weekend was the debut of the Stan Lee Experience, drawing more than 1,500 fans and press to a ground-breaking new experience in celebration of the Marvel creator’s legacy. Created in proud collaboration with Kartoon Studios’ Stan Lee Universe and powered by Proto Hologram and HyperReal, the activation marked the world premiere of a realistic, interactive holographic activation designed use an avatar of Stan Lee to bring fans old and new into the wonderful world of Marvel stories and characters created or co-created by Con-favorite guest Lee.

Adding to the weekend’s buzz, the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art hosted a standout panel moderated by Jessica Alba, featuring Robert Rodriguez, Frank Miller, and Kadir Nelson to share an exclusive sneak peek of the upcoming museum. The session included concept renderings, featured artworks, and a pre-recorded message from founders George Lucas – creator of the Star Wars and Indiana Jones series – and Mellody Hobson, leaving fans ecstatic about what’s to come.
