ViX, the world’s leading Spanish-language streaming service, announced the start of production for INFELICES PARA SIEMPRE (working title), a new original series inspired by the hit film. The comedy is currently being filmed in various locations across Spain and stars José Eduardo Derbez, Sofía Castro, and Consuelo Duval.
The cast also includes Harold Azuara, Javier Ibarreche, Mónica del Carmen, Ofelia Medina, Yare Santana, Luz Aldán, Mauricio Garza, Ricardo Fastlicht, and Michael Ronda, among others.
INFELICES PARA SIEMPRE follows Sebastián (José Eduardo Derbez), who finally fulfills his dream of becoming a manager when he arrives at the once glamorous Hotel Amalaya del Río, now a faded resort that has lost its splendor. With the help of a team as chaotic as it is endearing, he sets out to restore the hotel’s lost charm.
Everything changes when he meets a little girl dressed as a fairy who can grant wishes. Suddenly, Sebastián gains the same power and must face the magical and comical consequences of making his guests’ dreams come true. Along the way, he learns that true success isn’t about being the best manager but about helping others find their own happiness.
