The emotionally charged short film “I F*cking Hate You!,” written and directed by Gabriela Paciel (“El Viejo”, “To Play with Fire”), will be part of a special screening at the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival (LALIFF) on Thursday, May 29, 2 025, at 7:45 p.m. at The Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.

Starring Andrea Archila and Xavier Gonzalez, the dark comedy Western film follows Michelle and David as they make their way to Michelle’s wedding. But when a flat tire leaves them stranded in the desert, simmering tensions come to the surface. Still mourning a recent loss, their emotional wounds erupt into a visceral confrontation inside an abandoned house, one that forces them to fight for their lives, and ultimately, for each other.
