El Dusty Drops Video for Psychedelic Afro-Cumbia Track, “The Phoenix”

El Dusty joins forces with the sonic adventurers, the Miami-based duo Clips Ahoy and Hype Turner aka Drty Tropix to bring you “The Phoenix,” a track that rises from the depths of dark, pulsating basslines, Afro-cumbia percussion, and a hypnotic chant that’s sure to cast a spell.

El Dusty said:

This track is all about capturing the pulse of Tulum—the bass, the rhythm, the raw energy of collaboration. Drty Tropix brought their magic, and we just let the music take over.

The video is just as a psychedelic trip as the track, shot in the desert, it follows a surreal ritual where a secretive group casts the perfect spell to wake you up from a trance. Fire, dust, symbols, rhythm and everything moves like a dream you’re not sure you want to leave.
