Carlos Vives, Emilia, Wisin, and Xavi to Sing FIFA World Cup 2026, set to Debut at the 2025 Billboard Latin Music Awards on Telemundo

Telemundo partners with Carlos Vives, Emilia, Wisin and Xavi to produce the network’s official song for the FIFA World Cup 26™, premiering at the upcoming 2025 Billboard Latin Music Awards presentedLIVE on Telemundo on Thursday, October 23 at 8pm/7c, and streaming on the Telemundo App and Peacock.

“Somos Más” features an all-star collaboration that celebrates the fast-approaching historic tournament and the diversity of its fandom, building excitement and anticipation leading up to the World Cup. The collaboration brings together the powerful sounds of award-winning artists including world-renowned Colombian king of Vallenato, Carlos Vives; Argentinian urban pop superstar, Emilia; Puerto Rico’s reggaeton rapper, singer and producer, Wisin; and Xavi, the young Mexican-American singer-songwriter in the subgenre of romantic tumbados. 

The single echoes the unifying message “We Are 26” that supports the FIFA World Cup 26™ celebration of football and diversity, inviting everyone to be a part of it. It takes inspiration from popular Latin genres and instruments to make a unique sound that will serve as an anthem for the network’s coverage of the World Cup. 

The lyrics of “Somos Más” deliver a powerful message of unity, pride and global connection through fútbol, inviting fans to wear their team colors, raise their voices and celebrate together. The chorus “Cada vez, somos más” becomes a rallying cry for inclusion, peace and freedom. Verses by Carlos Vives and Xavi reflect the emotional memory of unforgettable matches, while Emilia’s vocals and Wisin’s high-energy verses underscore the passion, urgency and rhythm of the World Cup. From street chants to stadium anthems, the lyrics capture the soul of a sport that belongs to everyone, everywhere. 

Telemundo will broadcast all 104 matches live—92 on Telemundo and 12 on Universo—marking the most men’s World Cup matches ever aired on a broadcast network in U.S. media history, regardless of language. Every match will stream live on Peacock and the Telemundo App. With in-venue presence at each of the 104 matches, this will be Telemundo’s most extensive footprint ever enhancing expanded pre-game, halftime, and post-match coverage across platforms.
