Bad Bunny, Fuerza Regida, Danny Ocean, Carín León Nominated for Premios Juventud 2025

Premios Juventud unveiled today the nominees for its 22nd edition to be held in Panama City on September 25

Bad Bunny and Danny Ocean lead the nominees with six nominations each. They are closely followed byAnitta, Beéle, Carín León, Emilia, Myke Towers, Netón Vega, and Peso Pluma, who have each received five nominations. Karol G, Fuerza Regida, Kapo, Malaga, Oscar Maydon, Becky G received four nominations.

The show will broadcast live from the Figali Convention Center on Univision, UNIMÁS, Galavisión, and ViX at 7 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. CT. The first confirmed host is the multifaceted Clarissa Molina, with additional hosts to be announced shortly.

This year marks the first time Premios Juventud will be held outside the United States, a historic decision aimed at celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month in one of Latin America’s most vibrant countries. The move reinforces TelevisaUnivision’s commitment to honoring the strength, values, and traditions of Latin American communities. The four-hour event will kick off with the red carpet pre-show, “Noche de Estrellas de Premios Juventud.”

The annual awards show is expanding its categories to represent new trends. A total of 231 artists are nominated across 41 categories, including 30 focused on music, three on TV & Streaming, and eight on social media. This year, eight new categories have been added, including Mejor Canción Música Mexicana Alternativa (Best Alternative Mexican Music Song) for fusions of traditional Mexican sounds and other styles, Mejor Canción Pop/Rhythmic (Best Pop/Rhythmic Song) for pop and electronic music combinations, and Afrobeat Latino del Año (AfrobeatLatino of the Year) to celebrate contributions to this rising musical style. Other new categories include #GettingReadyWith to spotlight beauty and fashion creators, Podcast del Año (Podcast of the Year), Stream Que Nos Pegó (Stream that got us Hooked), showcasing captivating social media series, #ModoAvión (#AirplaneMode) for creators who inspire us to travel the world, and POVFutbolero (Soccer POV) for fans who have turned their passion into viral content. Additionally, this year the number of categories celebrating content creators and social media has doubled from four to eight, thanks to the support of an expert panel.
