
TelevisaUnivision announced the nominations for the 38th Annual Premio Lo Nuestro Awards, highlighting the artists, songs, and albums that are shaping Latin music across various genres, including pop, urbano, tropical, and Mexican music.
Premio Lo Nuestro 2026 will air live in the United States on Univision, UNIMÁS, and Galavisión, and stream on ViX across most Latin American countries Thursday, February 19, at 7 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. CT, from the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida.
This year’s nominations span 44 categories, underscoring the global impact and diversity of Latin music. Bad Bunny, Carín León, Myke Towers, and Rauw Alejandro emerge among the most nominated artists, earning 10 nominations each across multiple categories, including top general categories such as the prestigious Premio Lo Nuestro Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year. Close behind are Beéle, Fuerza Regida, and Karol G, each earning eight nods and joining Bad Bunny, Carín León, Maluma, Marc Anthony, Rauw Alejandro, Romeo Santos, and Shakira in the Premio Lo Nuestro Artist of the Year category.
The general categories reflect a year defined by crossover moments and genre-defining releases. Song of the Year features chart-topping hits such as “DTMF” (Bad Bunny), “Latina Foreva” (Karol G), “Soltera” (Shakira), “Desde Hoy” (Natti Natasha), and “El Amor de Mi Herida” (Carín León), among the 10 nominees. Meanwhile, Album of the Year recognizes some of the most impactful releases of the year, including “Debí Tirar Más Fotos” (Bad Bunny), “Tropicoqueta” (Karol G), “Palabra de To’s (Seca)” (Carín León), “Cosa Nuestra” (Rauw Alejandro), and “Babylon Club” (Danny Ocean).
Across genre-specific categories, the nominations underscore the breadth of today’s Latin sound. In Urbano, contenders include leading artists such as Bad Bunny, Karol G, Rauw Alejandro, Feid, Myke Towers, and Anitta. In Pop, nominees feature standout names, including Alejandro Sanz, Shakira, Sebastián Yatra, Camilo, Aitana, and Morat. In the Mexican Music category, several of the biggest forces are represented throughout the nominations, including Alejandro Fernández, Christian Nodal, Carín León, Fuerza Regida, Grupo Frontera, Yuridia, and Xavi, who earned seven nominations.
