Acclaimed filmmaker Jorge Xolalpa is proud to announce the official launch of Xolalpa Arts Academy, a new creative education platform offering online courses in Acting, Screenwriting, and Directing. The Academy is designed to nurture emerging artists worldwide, providing professional training and mentorship directly from one of today’s most dynamic voices in independent cinema.
While courses are currently offered online, in-person classes are set to launch in 2026, establishing Los Angeles as the hub for the Academy’s expanding creative community.
Xolalpa is an award-winning Mexican-American filmmaker, writer, and producer, celebrated for his bold storytelling and fearless exploration of identity, resilience, and humanity. He is the founder of Mighty Aphrodite Pictures, through which he has spearheaded multiple critically acclaimed films and series.
