Adult Swim announced a new adult animated comedy starring Emmy® Award-winning actor Keith David, “President Curtis.” The announcement followed a surprise appearance by David during Adult Swim’s “Rick and Morty” panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
In the forthcoming Adult Swim series co-created by “Rick and Morty” Executive Producers Dan Harmon and James Siciliano, David will reprise his longtime role as President Andre Curtis. Stephanie Beatriz (“Brooklyn Nine-Nine”) and Jim Rash (“Community”) also star.
“President Curtis” follows the Commander-in-Chief and his eccentric staff as they tackle the kind of crises that Rick Sanchez could never be bothered with – from interdimensional diplomacy to paranormal investigations and unexplained phenomena.
