Maroon 5, Kelly Clarkson Team Up For Honda Civic Tour!

You read that correctly!

Two of pop music’s hottest acts Maroon 5 and Kelly Clarkson will headline this year’s Honda Civic Tour!

The 31-city tour will kick off on August 1st in St. Louis, MO and run through October 5th. Tickets go on sale Saturday, April 6th at 10 a.m. via ticketmaster!

Both Maroon 5 and Clarkson were highly active on the Hot 100 in 2012. The rock quintet’s fourth album Overexposed spawned hit singles “Payphone”, and “One More Night”. Clarkson’s forth album Stronger spawned hit singles “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)” and “Dark Side”  followed late last year by “Catch My Breath,” off her “Greatest Hits: Chapter One” compilation.

Up & coming pop artist Rozzi Crane, current Maroon 5 stand in pianist PJ Morton and The Voice finalist Tony Lucca will serve as opening acts on certain dates. Check out the full list of tour dates, below!

Clarkson has another hit in her hands. “People Like Us” is a power pop anthem, it’s also very inspiring. She dedicates the track to all the misfits living in “a world on fire”. Simply amazing.

Recording Academy Reveal 2013 ‘GRAMMY’ Nominees Album Track-List!

Capitol Records and The Recording Academy’s GRAMMY Recordings will release the 2013 GRAMMY Nominees album on Jan. 22, 2013 and provide lucky music and GRAMMY fans two chances to attend the 55th or the 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards.

The album features 22 critically acclaimed smash hits from a myriad of chart-topping artists from various genres.

The 19th edition of the best-selling collection includes many of the most widely recognized GRAMMY categories representing nominees for Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best New Artist, Best Pop Solo Performance, etc. A portion of the proceeds from the album benefit the MusiCares Foundation and the GRAMMY Foundation — two charitable organizations established by The Recording Academy.

In conjunction with the 2013 GRAMMY Nominees album, Capitol Records and The Recording Academy will offer two opportunities to attend the annual GRAMMY Awards. Nominations for the 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards® were announced tonight by The Recording Academy® and reflected an eclectic mix of the best and brightest in music over the past year, as determined by the voting members of The Academy.

 FUN., Jay-Z, Mumford & Sons, Frank Ocean, and Kanye West top the nominations with six each. The Black Keys, Chick Corea, and Miguel each garnered five nominations.
