Let me tell you que el ambiente estaba bien bueno. Everyone was up and dancing, singing and even perreando throughout the night. Becky G kicked off the night with “Shower,””Can’t Stop Dancin'” and “Can’t Get Enough.”

El rey de la musica colombiana Carlos Vives took the stage to officially kick-off  Calibash and evenshowed off his dance moves. He performed a medley of hits including “Volví a Nacer,” “Cuando Nos Volvamos a Encontrar,” “Ella Es Mi Fiesta” and “El Mar De Sus Ojos” alongside ChocQuibTown. Vives sabe como poner a todo el mundo a bailar, his music doesn’t just resonate with Latinos it resonates to the entire world.

Reggeaton superstar Farruko took the stage and the crowd erupted into cheers, he performed “Passion Wine,” “Lejos De Aquí,” “Hola Bebe” and “6 am.” Farruko a native from Puerto Rico has a pretty good career, he’s had various no. 1 hits. Pero it wasn’t until last year when a lot of music lovers took notice, su collaboration junto a J Balvin en “6 am” earned him two Latin Grammy nominations. Expect to hear a lot more music from Farruko in 2015, I wouldn’t be surprised if he earns his own Latin Grammy nominations in November.

Miami’s own Gente de Zona puso a todos a bailar con “Bailando,” “Tu Me Quemas” and “Yo Quiero (Si Tu Te Enamoras).” We all know GDZ from Enrique’s hit “Bailando,” but did you know that they’ve been around for years and they’ve helped produce some big hits for artist. Which is quite impressive.

El sobreviviente Wisin, Don Omar, Mr. 305 aka Pitbull and 3BallMTY each put on an incredible non-stop dancing set. Wisin performed “Control,” “Adrenalina,” “Que Viva La Vida” and “Rakata.” Everyone thought that Wisin y Yandel couldn’t have a solo career, but they have reached proved everyone wrong. Wisin delivered un set con mucha energia y some impressive dance moves.

Don Omar made his triumphant return to Los Angeles and it was pandemonium, the crowd wouldn’t let him speak or perform. He seemed to get a bit emotional during his set, but that didn’t stop him from delivering an incredible performance. He performed hits including “Danza Kuduro,” “Zumba,” and “Duty Love.” Don Omar is a true music icon, he shows no signs of slowing down and his fans absolutely love him. I’ve never seen Don Omar in concert, but I’m glad I saw him at Calibash. He knows how to entertain, now when he announces a U.S. tour, you already know I’ll be there.

The kings of tribaleando 3BallMTY delivered a high energy set which included hit anthems “Intentalo,” “Besos Al Aire,” “La Noche Es Tuya,” current hit single “Desesperada” and a mega cumbia mix. DJ Otto, Sheeqo Beat and Erick Rincon son tres chavos muy talentosos, they make sick beats and they make you dance. If you get a chance to see them live…DO IT! You won’t regret it, I promise.

Mr. 305…Mr. Worldwide…Pitbull ended the night with a massive setlist that included “Hecha Pa LLa’,” “Fireball,” “Time of Our Lives,” “Piensas (Dile La Verdad),” “Give Me Everything” and a medley of other hits. What can I say about Pitbull? Lla saben que pone a todos a bailar, he is after all MR. WORLDWIDE!!

Congrats to SBS Entertainment, Tapiz Media and Mega 96.3fm. Calibash made history and it will continue to make history for years to come. Quien esta listo para Calibash 2016? *raises hand* 🙂
