Sitch News is an online social/pop culture experience that gives you all the latest and greatest in celebrity, entertainment, nightlife, fashion and Situation Nation news. Put it all in a blender, add one part GTL, a dash of FTD, and a teaspoon of DTF all with a smart, witty, commentary – and that sums us up.

Christina Aguilera is getting back to her spanish-singing roots, by singing the lead track for the upcoming Will Ferrel movie ‘Casa De Mi Padre’ in theaters March 17th!!

The track titled “Casa De Mi Padre” just like the movie, features a strong vocal from Ms. Aguilera, dramatic Spanish guitars, blaring trumpets, and a gospel backing all with a flamenco twist. The song is simply AMAZING!!

The soundtrack for ‘La Casa De Mi Padre’ is now available on iTunes! Go Buy it!

Our favorite Alt/Rock band from the 90′s Garbage have announced spring tour dates in support of their upcoming fifth studio album Not Your Kind Of People, set for a May 15th release.

The tour will kick off with two shows in L.A. on April 9th & 10th, they’ll also be making stops in Arizona, Texas, Las Vegas, etc. Then they’re off overseas for a number of gigs and festivals starting on May 9th in London.

Oh, no!

Antonio Banderas was at Budapest’s Franz Liszt International Airport earlier today, when a mob of fans surrounded him. When he finally got into his car, he realized his wallet was missing.

He alerted the police, but according to  police reports they believe that the perpetrators were already eyeing Antonio and took advantage of all the fan pandemonium to rob Antonio while he was distracted.

Hopefully the perpetrators are caught, and are put behind bars.

A new singing competition show is coming to tv!

This time it’s ABC‘s turn, the new singing competition show is titled Duets. Music superstars, Kelly Clarkson, Robin Thicke, Lionel Richie and Jennifer Nettles have been picked to search for musical protégés on Duets, which will premiere on ABC this summer.

Here’s a description of Duets, thanks to ABC:

“Duets” is a one of a kind singing competition that takes the Superstars out from the judge’s panel and onto the stage. Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Nettles, Lionel Richie, and Robin Thicke will individually set out on a journey across America looking for undiscovered talent worthy to be their protégés.

 

Ultimately, each Superstar will choose two singers to be their duet partners. Together, the Superstar and their protégé will take the stage each week and perform in front of a live studio audience. In the end, only one duet will be at the top of the charts and the winning amateur will receive a recording contract with Hollywood Records.

It sounds interesting, but it is ANOTHER singing competition show. Hopefully it manages to receive a good amount of viewers. We’ll be tuning in to see Kelly
