The wait is finally over. Check out the just released music video for Adele‘s smash hit single “Someone Like You” from her record breaking sophomore album 21.

The black-and-white video was shot in Paris and directed by Jake Nava. The video is simply amazing, check it out below

This was unexpected…wow!

Formed in 2002, vocalist/guitarist Dan Layus launched Augustana with a couple of friends while attending Greenville College in Illinois. In early 2003, they self-released their debut album Midwest Skies and Sleepless Mondays, moved to California in 2004 and toured with the likes of Counting Crows, Goo Goo Dolls and Maroon 5. They signed with Epic Records the following year. (Red Bull)

Augustana achieved their initial fame to claim with 2005’s “All The Stars And Boulevards,” which featured their smash hit single “Boston”. In 2008 their popularity rose with the release of their third LP Can’t Love, Can’t Hurt which featured their hit single “Sweet and Low”. In April 2011 they released their self-titled fourth studio album, which turned out to be their final album as a band.

Vocalist/guitarist Dan Layus told Red Bull USA:

“Basically the two original members with me as well, Justin [South] and Jared [Palomar], have parted ways. It’s a sad thing, but it’s been an amicable split and it’s just kinda tough. It’s hard to keep a band together. We had a good run and it was a blast while we could do it, but everybody is good. Everybody is friends. It’s just tough to sustain a business like that.”

As a big fan of the band this is truly heartbreaking, first it was R.E.M. & now Augustana. 2011 is turning out to be the year that band’s break-up. This isn’t cool, but me and the rest of the e-rocks team wish the best of luck to the band members on their future side-projects, and we thank them for all the awesome music they created!

Listen to the new Enrique Iglesias and Jennifer Lopez duet, “Mouth to Mouth”.  The new tune was produced by DJ Frank E, and will be included in the repackaged edition of Enrique’s album Euphoria, which is due in November.
