New details have emerged about Britney Spears‘ upcoming single ‘Criminal‘. According to Sony Music Australia the version of Criminal that is being released is not the album version but a remix with a “completely different tempo.”

The remix will serve as the first single off Britney Spears’ new remix album ‘B In The Mix: Volume 2′ which includes new versions of songs found on Britney’s Femme Fatale and Circus albums. SLAMMED BY PETA: Recently Rihanna caused some controversy when she showed up to an London event, where she promoted her latest fragrance, wearing a top that was covered in ostrich feathers [pictured left]. Now the ‘People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals’ [PETA] organization is speaking out. “We keep hoping that Rihanna, a victim of violence herself, will learn to open her heart and start empathising with the suffering of others,” stated a PETA spokesperson to the Daily Star. PETA believes the feathers were collected in a cruel and harmful way. No word from Rihanna or her people yet.

The cast of the upcoming flick ‘The Avengers‘ were spotted filming today on the Central Park set in New York City.

In the film, which is being written and directed by Joss Whedon, we get to see what happens when some of the worlds greatest super heroes are called together to save the world by S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury. ‘The Avengers‘ features a great ensemble cast [Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston,Cobie Smulders ,and Mark Ruffalo] and is set to hit theaters May 4, 2012.
